When is the best time to place an order?

Ideally, not earlier than 2 or 3 days before departure.

Buying a vignette earlier may result in the need to buy a new one due to a possible vehicle breakdown, change of departure date or other unplanned event.

What are the restrictions?

Some motorway operators impose restrictions on the purchase of vignettes. Below is a list of the most important ones:

Austria

• On the internet, you can find information that it is not possible to buy a vignette later than 18 days before its validity date. When buying through our service, this problem does not occur because we buy vignettes on your behalf as a company, and in this case, this limitation does not occur;

Czech Republic

• It is not possible to purchase a vignette more than 3 months before the planned departure;

Bulgaria

• It is not possible to purchase a vignette more than 30 days before the planned departure;

Romania

• You must enter the VIN of the vehicle to purchase a vignette;
• It is not possible to purchase a vignette more than 30 days before the planned departure;

How to reduce the risk of mistake?

Incorrectly entered data may result in the need to purchase a new vignette, and if the error is not noticed, a penalty fine.

Additional attention should be paid to the vehicle categories to avoid errors related to the wrong choice of vignette category for the vehicle type.
