The A10 Tauern motorway is Austria's most-travelled toll route and the main corridor for drivers heading to the Adriatic coast (Slovenia, Croatia, Italy). The ticket covers the Tauern Tunnel and Katschberg Tunnel between Bischofshofen and Villach.

How to use it Passing through the toll gates

After purchasing the ticket online, use the green lane at the toll gates. The barrier is raised automatically based on your registration number. A valid Austrian motorway vignette is also required separately to travel on the A10.

Tip

The A10 is extremely busy during summer holiday season. The 2-journey ticket is great value for return trips to the Adriatic. Remember that the Austrian vignette is required in addition to this section toll.
