Route details Where is the Brenner section toll required?
The Brenner Motorway A13 is the main route connecting Austria with Italy via the Brenner Pass. The entire A13 motorway is subject to a section toll — in addition to a valid Austrian motorway vignette, you must purchase a separate section toll ticket before entering this route.
How to use it Passing through the toll gates
After purchasing the section toll ticket online, you can use the green lane at the toll gates. The barrier will be raised automatically based on your registration number. Do not use lanes marked "GO" — those are reserved for heavy vehicles above 3,5 tonnes.
Important
The section toll ticket is separate from the Austrian motorway vignette. You need both to legally travel on the A13 Brenner motorway.
