Vignette validity How is the 10-day period determined for the ECO vignette?

The 10-day Czech ECO vignette takes effect at 00:00 on your selected start date and remains valid for 9 consecutive calendar days after that (10 days in total), expiring at 23:59 on the final day.

Purchased on 22-08-2026 with a start date of 24-08-2026 — the ECO vignette is valid from 00:00 on 24-08-2026 through 23:59 on 02-09-2026.

Blue pointer Example 2

Purchased and processed at 14:00 on 24-08-2026 for 24-08-2026 — the ECO vignette is valid from 14:00 on 24-08-2026 through 23:59 on 02-09-2026.

*If you purchase an ECO vignette starting "today", validity begins from the moment the order is processed, plus 9 additional calendar days ending at 23:59 on the last day. As a result, the actual usable period may be slightly shorter than 10 full days.

Vehicle eligibility Which vehicles qualify for the 10-day ECO vignette?

This ECO vignette is designed for vehicles satisfying all of the following requirements:

  • a multi-track motor vehicle (passenger car),
  • maximum permissible weight up to 3,5 tonnes,
  • classified as ECO — plug-in hybrid with CO₂ emissions of 50 g/km or less.

Order details What do you need to prepare?

  • start date of the vignette validity,
  • vehicle registration number (as shown on the registration certificate),
  • country of vehicle registration.
