Vignette validity How does the 30-day validity work for the ECO vignette?

The 30-day Czech ECO vignette activates at 00:00 on the chosen start date and covers 29 further calendar days (30 days in total), ending at 23:59 on the last day. As an ECO product, this vignette is offered at a 50 % reduced rate compared to the standard version.

Start date set to 24-08-2026 — the ECO vignette is valid from 00:00 on 24-08-2026 through 23:59 on 22-09-2026.

Purchased and processed at 14:00 on 24-08-2026 for the same day — the ECO vignette is valid from 14:00 on 24-08-2026 through 23:59 on 22-09-2026.

*When you purchase an ECO vignette starting "today", it becomes active once the order is processed, followed by 29 additional calendar days until 23:59 on the final day. The effective usable period may therefore be slightly less than 30 full days.

Vehicle eligibility Which vehicles qualify for the 30-day ECO vignette?

This ECO vignette applies to vehicles that satisfy every one of the following conditions:

  • a multi-track motor vehicle (passenger car),
  • maximum permissible weight up to 3,5 tonnes,
  • classified as ECO — plug-in hybrid with CO₂ emissions of 50 g/km or less.

  • start date of the vignette validity,
  • vehicle registration number (as shown on the registration certificate),
  • country of vehicle registration.
