Vignette validity How are the 10 days calculated?

The 10-day Slovak vignette starts on the date chosen during purchase at 00:00 and covers 9 additional calendar days (10 days total), ending at 23:59 on the final day. If purchased for the current day, validity begins from the moment the order is processed.

Blue pointer Example 1

A vignette purchased on 22-08-2026 with a start date of 24-08-2026 is valid from 00:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 02-09-2026.

Blue pointer Example 2

A vignette ordered and processed at 14:00 on 24-08-2026 for 24-08-2026 is valid from 14:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 02-09-2026.

*When purchasing a vignette starting "today", its validity begins from the moment the order is processed, followed by 9 more calendar days until 23:59 on the last day. In practice, the effective duration may be slightly less than 10 full days.

Compatibility Is this vignette suitable for my vehicle?

This vignette is intended for vehicles meeting the following criteria:

  • a multi-track motor vehicle (passenger car),
  • with a maximum permissible weight not exceeding 3,5 tonnes,
  • with no more than 8 seats plus the driver's seat.

  • start date of the vignette validity,
  • vehicle registration number (as shown on the registration certificate),
  • country where the vehicle is registered.
