About the 1-Day Slovak Trailer Vignette

Vignette validity How long does the 1-day trailer vignette last?

The 1-day Slovak trailer vignette is valid on the calendar date selected during purchase, until 23:59 on that date. If purchased for a future date, the vignette covers the entire day from 00:00 to 23:59. If purchased for the current day, validity begins from the moment the order is processed.

Blue pointer Example 1

A vignette ordered on 22-08-2026 for 25-08-2026 is valid from 00:00 to 23:59 on 25-08-2026.

Blue pointer Example 2

A vignette ordered and processed at 14:00 on 23-08-2026 for that same day is valid from 14:00 until 23:59 on 23-08-2026, approximately 10 hours.

Compatibility Does my trailer need a separate vignette?

A separate trailer vignette is required when all of the following conditions are met:

  • the trailer is category O1 (up to 750 kg) or O2 (750 kg – 3,5 tonnes),
  • it is towed by a passenger car (category M1) or a light commercial vehicle (category N1),
  • the maximum permissible mass of the vehicle combination (car + trailer) exceeds 3,5 tonnes.

  • trailer registration number (as shown on the registration certificate),
  • country where the trailer is registered.
