About the 30-Day Slovak Trailer Vignette

Vignette validity How are the 30 days calculated?

The 30-day Slovak trailer vignette takes effect on the selected start date and remains valid until 23:59 on the same date of the following month. If that date does not exist in the next month, the vignette expires on the last day of that month at 23:59.

Blue pointer Example 1

A vignette purchased on 22-08-2026 with a start date of 24-08-2026 is valid from 00:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 24-09-2026.

Blue pointer Example 2

A vignette ordered and processed at 14:00 on 24-08-2026 for 24-08-2026 is valid from 14:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 24-09-2026.

*When purchasing a vignette starting "today", validity begins from the moment the order is processed until the same date next month at 23:59. The actual usage period may therefore be slightly shorter.

Compatibility Does my trailer need a separate vignette?

A separate trailer vignette is required when all of the following conditions are met:

  • the trailer is category O1 (up to 750 kg) or O2 (750 kg – 3,5 tonnes),
  • it is towed by a passenger car (category M1) or a light commercial vehicle (category N1),
  • the maximum permissible mass of the vehicle combination (car + trailer) exceeds 3,5 tonnes.

  • start date of the vignette validity,
  • trailer registration number (as shown on the registration certificate),
  • country where the trailer is registered.
