About the Annual Slovak Vignette

Vignette validity How is the 365-day period determined?

The annual Slovak motorway vignette becomes active on the chosen start date and covers 12 consecutive months, expiring at 23:59 on the final day.

Blue pointer Example 1

A vignette with a start date of 24-08-2026 is valid from 00:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 23-08-2027.

Blue pointer Example 2

A vignette ordered and processed at 14:00 on 24-08-2026 for 24-08-2026 is valid from 14:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 23-08-2027.

*When purchasing a vignette starting "today", validity begins from the moment the order is processed, followed by 12 months until 23:59 on the last day. The actual usage period may therefore be slightly shorter than 365 full days.

Compatibility Is this vignette suitable for my vehicle?

This vignette is designed for vehicles that meet the following requirements:

  • a multi-track motor vehicle (passenger car),
  • with a maximum permissible weight not exceeding 3,5 tonnes,
  • with no more than 8 seats plus the driver's seat.

Order details What do you need to prepare?

  • start date of the vignette validity,
  • vehicle registration number (as shown on the registration certificate),
  • country where the vehicle is registered.
