Road tolls in Poland

Poland has no vignettes, and most motorways and expressways are free. You only pay on the concession sections of the A1, A2 and A4 – with the Autopay app you drive through the toll gates in the fast lane, without stopping.

Download the Autopay app

The app is free. Setting it up takes less than 5 minutes.

Toll sections · vehicles up to 3.5 t

  • A1 Gdańsk – Toruń 152 km · 12 toll gates 29.90 zł
  • A2 Świecko – Konin approx. 255 km · 10 toll stations 141.00 zł
  • A4 Katowice – Kraków 61 km · 2 toll stations 2 × 18.00 zł

With the Autopay app you pay on the A1, the A4 and the Poznań – Konin section (A2)

Are there vignettes?

No. You cannot buy a vignette in Poland – neither a sticker nor an electronic one.

What is free?

Most motorways and expressways, plus all national and regional roads.

Over 3.5 t?

Lorries, buses and heavier motorhomes pay in the state e-TOLL system on state roads, and on the A1, A2 and A4 – the concession holder.

Motorcycle?

You pay at the toll gate. A motorcycle only has a rear number plate, which the cameras do not read, so the fast lane will not work.
