About the Hungarian D1 vignette for 1 day

Vignette validity How is a single day counted?

A daily vignette is valid on the day of purchase — from the moment the payment goes through until midnight. Bought in advance for a chosen day, it covers that whole day, from 00:00 to 24:00.

A vignette starting on 24-06-2026 is valid from 00:00 to 24:00 on 24-06-2026.

Blue pointer Example 2

A vignette bought and paid for at 14:00 on 24-06-2026 for the same day is valid from 14:00 to 24:00.

*A daily vignette bought "for today" runs only until midnight, not for a full 24 hours.

Buy before you enter

You may only enter a toll section with a valid vignette. Drivers who enter a toll road by mistake have 60 minutes from entry to buy the authorisation.

Compatibility Is this vignette suitable for my vehicle?

Buy this vignette if your vehicle meets the category D1 conditions:

  • it is a passenger car with a maximum authorised mass up to 3.5 tonnes,
  • it is registered for no more than 7 people including the driver,
  • its registration certificate shows category M1 or M1G.

Order details What do you need to prepare?

  • start date of the vignette validity,
  • the vehicle registration number,
  • the country of registration.

No printing required

The vignette is delivered electronically and linked to the vehicle registration number. Nothing to stick on the windscreen, nothing to print. Remember that you need the vignette before entering a toll section.
