About the 30-Day Slovak Trailer Vignette

Vignette validity How are the 30 days calculated?

The 30-day Slovak trailer vignette starts on the date chosen during purchase at 00:00 and covers 29 additional calendar days (30 days total), ending at 23:59 on the final day. If purchased for the current day, validity begins from the moment the order is processed.

Example 1

A vignette purchased on 22-08-2026 with a start date of 24-08-2026 is valid from 00:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 22-09-2026.

Example 2

A vignette ordered and processed at 14:00 on 24-08-2026 for 24-08-2026 is valid from 14:00 on 24-08-2026 until 23:59 on 22-09-2026.

*When purchasing a vignette starting "today", its validity begins from the moment the order is processed, followed by 29 more calendar days until 23:59 on the last day. In practice, the effective duration may be slightly less than 30 full days.

Compatibility Does my trailer need a separate vignette?

A separate trailer vignette is required when all of the following conditions are met:

• the trailer is category O1 (up to 750 kg) or O2 (750 kg – 3.5 tonnes),
• it is towed by a passenger car (category M1) or a light commercial vehicle (category N1),
• the maximum permissible mass of the vehicle combination (car + trailer) exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
