Information about e-vignettes
Where are e-vignettes valid?
E-vignettes are valid in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Switzerland and Hungary. These countries use an electronic toll collection system. This means vignettes are no longer available as windscreen stickers. Tolls are paid through the given country's electronic toll system. The vignette is assigned to the vehicle's registration number, and roadside cameras check whether the vehicle is allowed to use the route.
How do I choose the right vignette for my vehicle?
Due to the different traffic regulations in individual countries, it is important to make sure the vignette matches your vehicle. Before buying a vignette, it is worth reading the related information provided during the order process. Pay particular attention to the vehicle category — problems with incorrect charges arise from the fact that in some countries the up-to-3.5-t vehicle class has been divided into additional sub-categories.
How do I place an order?
To order a vignette for a toll road correctly, choose the country where you want to travel, and then follow the information shown during the purchase process. It is important to specify the vehicle category precisely — your vehicle registration document can help with this.

Frequently asked questions
What is an e-vignette?
An e-vignette is the electronic equivalent of the traditional sticker. The right to travel is assigned to the vehicle's registration number and verified by roadside cameras — you don't need to stick anything on the windscreen.
In which countries are vignettes required?
Vignettes are required in the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Switzerland. In these countries, road tolls are settled through the vignette system.
Where can I buy vignettes?
You can buy all vignettes conveniently online in one place — on this website or in the Autopay app. The PDF confirmation will reach your email address within a few minutes.
Which vehicles require a vignette?
A vignette is required for vehicles travelling on toll roads. In some countries, the up-to-3.5-t vehicle class is further divided — pay attention to the category when ordering.
Can you enter a toll motorway after receiving the vignette purchase confirmation?
Yes. After receiving the confirmation and once the vignette is active from the specified date, you can legally use the toll roads in that country.
When is the best time to buy a vignette?
It is best to buy a vignette before your planned trip, specifying the date on which it starts to be valid. This way you can be sure it is active on the day of travel.
What is the difference between a sticker and an e-vignette?
A sticker is a physical badge on the windscreen, whereas an e-vignette is fully digital and assigned to the registration number. Most countries have already switched to the electronic system.
Can vignettes be returned or edited?
In selected cases, it is possible to edit the details or return a vignette in accordance with the operator's terms. You'll find the details in the product editing and cancellation section.
How are vignettes checked?
Vignettes are checked automatically by roadside cameras, which read the vehicle's registration number and verify the validity of the entitlement in the system.
